Work Days

As usual, the next Work Day will be the last Sunday of the month, Sunday 27th October.  As well as our usual maintenance of the wood,we will be staging an Autumn Walk round the wood.  All are welcome to come along at 11 am and learn more about the ecology of Park Wood.

Like the very enjoyable and informative Spring Walk, this will be led by Lindsay McCulloch (Ecologist, Southampton City Council). Fingers crossed the weather will pick up again and we won't have too much rain next weekend. We will be there from 10 am and, as ever, light refreshments, gloves and all tools will be provided, but please remember to wear suitable footwear.

Future Events

In 2020 we are planning our regular Easter Egg Hunt and another Spring Walk with Lindsay, as well as an evening Bat Walk in May.  If all goes well, October should see a return of our Woodland Festival with many different attractions - watch this space for further details!
