Spider Hunt 2005

Simon Moore, from Hampshire County Council, led a group of volunteers on 11th September 2005 to catalogue the various spider species living in Park Wood.

Work Days

The July and August Work Days have been cancelled, so our next opportunity to work in Park Wood will be Sunday 28th September 2018, starting at 10 am.  All are welcome to come along and meet our friendly group and help keep the wood such a  delightful haven. Light refreshments and all tools provided, but please wear suitable footwear. 


News

AGM - 23rd May 2018

Over 30 people attended the AGM at which Inge Ridley-Jones was warmly thanked for having successfully concluded negotiations with the Woodland Trust which will enable us to continue working in Park Wood. She stood down from the Committee at the conclusion of the meeting, and we welcomed our new Chairman, Pete Hodges, whose first duty will be to sign the Third Party Agreement on our behalf and arrange further meetings with the WT Site Manager.
